Copyright and License

Authors publishing in the Latin American Journal of Mathematics agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License that allows for unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the authorship of the work and initial publication in this journal are acknowledged and included.

  2. Authors may enter into separate non-commercial contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (for example, posting it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (for example, in institutional repositories or on their website and social media) as it can lead to productive exchanges and earlier and greater citation of published work (The Effect of Open Access).
