Focus and Scope
The Latin American Journal of Mathematics (e-ISSN 2965-0798) is dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality scientific contributions in all areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics.
-
Original Research Articles: LAJM publishes original and unpublished research manuscripts. To ensure global reach and impact, all original research articles must be written exclusively in English.
-
Survey Articles: The journal also welcomes comprehensive review articles (surveys) that provide significant insights into specific mathematical fields. Surveys may be submitted in English, Portuguese, or Spanish (English is preferred).
Target Audience: Our publication is aimed at researchers, educators, and graduate students, as well as mathematicians in the private sector. We specifically encourage graduate students to submit works derived from their doctoral dissertations.
Mission: The journal's primary goal is to foster the dissemination of mathematical production within Latin America while ensuring its international circulation. LAJM strives to be a global reference for academic updates and high-level scientific discussion in the mathematical sciences.
