Overview

This special issue of the Latin American Journal of Mathematics (LAJM) brings together a curated collection of high-quality, peer-reviewed research papers originating from the International Conference on Algebra and Topology with Applications in Artificial Intelligence (ICATAAI 2026), organized by the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT Allahabad), Prayagraj, India, from February 2–4, 2026.

The objective of ICATAAI 2026 is to provide a international platform for mathematicians, computer scientists, and applied researchers to connect, collaborate, and exchange innovative ideas. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, this volume seeks to bridge conceptual and methodological gaps between pure mathematics and its modern applications in data science, engineering, and artificial intelligence.

Scope and Topics of Interest

We invite high-quality original research articles and comprehensive survey papers addressing recent breakthroughs in core mathematical disciplines as well as their practical implementations. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Algebra & Structures: Ring and Module Theory, Group Theory, Representation Theory, and Linear/Multilinear Algebra.

  • Topology & Geometry: General Topology, Algebraic Topology, Topological Data Analysis (TDA), and Differential Geometry.

  • Analysis & Dynamical Systems: Functional Analysis, Operator Theory, Summability Theory, Differential Equations, and Dynamical Systems.

  • Applied & Computational Mathematics: Mathematical Modeling, Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Analysis, Image Processing, Fuzzy Set Theory, and Mathematical Biology.

  • Mathematical Foundations of AI: Algebraic and Topological Methods in Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Computer Science, and Data Analysis.

Submission Guidelines & Timeline

All submitted manuscripts will undergo the standard rigorous, double-blind peer-review process of the Latin American Journal of Mathematics to ensure the highest standards of scientific quality, originality, and mathematical depth.

  • Submission Window: October 15, 2026 – November 30, 2026

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in English and formatted according to the official LAJM LaTeX template.

  • Submission Portal: Submissions should be made through the journal's electronic submission system, selecting the section "Special Issue: ICATAAI-2026" during the process.
